Temple of the Spirits

Water and wind have carved this immense sandstone formation far off the beaten path in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument into a giant seashell over thousands of years. The ethereal light filters through its spiral-like core, setting the sandstone walls aglow and adding texture and color to an already palpable feeling of a supernatural presence.
