Pure, turquoise-colored water from Baring Creek just downstream from the straight and narrow Sunrift Gorge pours 30 feet at an angle onto a smooth, red wall of Precambrian mudstone, emptying into St. Mary Lake further downstream. Glacier National Park, Montana.
