Rainbow Over Wild Goose Island

A stormy, windy late August morning at St. Mary Lake culminates in a rain shower, with Mother Nature endowing those who remained with a beautiful but transient rainbow arching over the iconic Wild Goose Island. The alpine peaks of the Lewis Range are (from left to right): Little Chief Mountain (with the jagged peak), Citadel Mountain, Gunsight Mountain and Fusillade Mountain.
